In true Kiwi-style we’ve taken the beloved and legendary meat pies done so well by the Brits (never let it be said we don’t give credit where it’s due) tarted them up, made them juicier, meatier, tastier and yes -even healthier. What?! A healthy meat pie you scoff? Well, while our Sweet Pies and Flash Pastries get the full “butter is better” treatment, in traditional Kiwi-style, we use high-quality margarine for the “Meats”. This allows the rich filling to take center stage without being out-shined by an also rich crust. So we’ve removed the stodginess and added passion bringing the divine and authentic NZ Wiseys’ pie to Canada. (Frankly, we’ve saved you a rather astronomical travel bill and you’re welcome – though we whole-heartedly encourage you to visit if you ever get the chance! )

All Wiseys’ Savoury Pies are individually and lovingly hand-crafted to be enjoyed on the fly (aka out of a handy dandy, no-mess bag in your car, on the bus or as you stroll) or “in the cozy” (aka at Wiseys), where it will be plated with refreshing, bright greens, lightly drizzled with the dressing of your choice. No matter the way you choose to partake of your favourite Wiseys’ Savoury Pie, take heart each is made with mouth-watering, high-quality, Grade A beef, bathed in a rich gravy – all snug as a lamb in its winter coat in tender, light pastry.
